The NID exam is a highly competitive national-level entrance test conducted by the National Institute of Design for admission into BDes and MDes programs. It evaluates a student’s creativity, design aptitude, visual perception, problem-solving ability, and observation skills. The exam is conducted in two stages: DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. Aspirants preparing for the NID exam must focus on sketching, creative thinking, design fundamentals, and time management. With structured preparation, regular practice, and mock tests, students can enhance their chances of securing admission to India’s top design institutes.
